CERTIFICATE ISO 22000:2019(Food Safety Management System)and HACCP(Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)
Witaga is a leading producer of fly agaric and mushroom-based products in Ukraine. We were the first to obtain certification for production under GOST ISO 22000:2019 and HACCP standards, ensuring the safety and premium quality of our products.
Our dedication to high standards is also confirmed internationally — our products are certified by the FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration), proving compliance with globally recognized safety and quality requirements. We are proud that TM Witaga is the first mushroom product brand in Ukraine, offering the world’s most extensive selection of mushroom-based goods, including cosmetics, tinctures, and confections.
A key distinction of our company is that we are the only producer in Ukraine that conducts testing for muscimol content — the active compound in fly agaric — guaranteeing product safety, consistency, and effectiveness for our customers. We also hold an ISO 9001 certificate, further affirming our commitment to quality management and ongoing innovation.
To make our products more accessible, we host weekly giveaways. For the past three years, we’ve been giving away 20 product units every week — absolutely free and with no conditions. This is the only ongoing giveaway of its kind in Ukraine, aimed at broadening access to our products and showcasing their quality and benefits.
FDA CERTIFICATE — A MARK OF PRODUCT SAFETY AND QUALITY
The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) is an agency under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and one of the key federal bodies responsible for consumer protection in the United States.
As the oldest and most comprehensive consumer safety agency in the country, the FDA plays a critical role in regulating and inspecting food and cosmetic products. Successfully passing an FDA inspection means that a product has met one of the world’s most rigorous sets of safety standards.
The FDA’s mission is to protect public health by ensuring the safety and effectiveness of medicines and medical devices, monitoring the safety of food and cosmetics, and enforcing accurate product labeling to safeguard consumers. To guarantee food safety, the FDA examines products for harmful substances such as pesticides, radionuclides, and chemical additives. It also monitors the accuracy and transparency of product labeling to ensure consumers are fully informed.

ISO 9001:2018 (ISO 9001:2015) QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATE
The ISO 9001 standard, developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), outlines the criteria for a quality management system aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction by ensuring that products and services consistently meet regulatory and client requirements.
The core goals of this quality management system are to ensure compliance with customer expectations and legal requirements, continuously improve internal processes, enhance competitiveness by upholding high quality standards, and identify and manage risks that could affect the quality of products or services.
Achieving ISO 9001 certification demonstrates that an organization has established a quality management framework that aligns with global best practices. This certification not only supports participation in tenders and contract negotiations but also builds trust among customers and business partners.
CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY: MULTI-SPECIES MEDICINAL MUSHROOMS
This certificate confirms that various medicinal mushroom products — including Hericium erinaceus, Cordyceps militaris, Amanita pantherina, Fomes fomentarius, Inonotus obliquus, Trametes versicolor, Ganoderma lucidum, and others — are produced in compliance with the technical specifications TU U 10.3-3147802955-001:2021.
Certification was granted on the basis of laboratory testing for radionuclides and heavy metals according to GN 6.6.1.1-130-2006. This voluntary certification verifies that the products meet Ukrainian legal requirements for safety, quality, and conformity. Ongoing annual technical supervision is a condition for maintaining certification.
The technical specifications are protected as intellectual property and cannot be copied, distributed, or used without the consent of the rights holder. Products may be manufactured under the trademarks of either the producer or the client, with flexible packaging and labeling options permitted under current regulations.
CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY: DRIED AMANITA MUSCARIA MUSHROOMS
This certificate confirms that dried Amanita muscaria mushrooms meet the requirements outlined in subsection 3.3.4, table 4, chapter 4 of TU U 10.3-3147802955-001:2021.
Certification is based on official laboratory testing, including analysis of potential contaminants and compliance with labeling and safety standards. Valid for one year, this certification also requires annual technical supervision to ensure continued conformity with applicable legislation.
The technical documentation supporting this certification is protected by law and may not be reproduced or used without prior permission. Product labeling may include additional trademarks or commercial names, provided they remain within the legal and technical framework established by Ukrainian regulations.
TEST REPORT №0232/2025
Depending on the form of processing, the following types of products are manufactured:
- Dried Amanita muscaria (whole caps)
- Dried Amanita muscaria (powdered form)
- Dried Amanita muscaria (encapsulated form)
According to clause 3.4 of the technical specifications, the manufacturer reserves the right to expand the product line and assign new names to products derived from similar raw materials.
All dried Amanita muscaria products have been officially tested for heavy metals and radionuclides. Laboratory results confirm that levels of lead, cadmium, and mercury, as well as radioactive isotopes cesium-137 and strontium-90, are within the acceptable safety limits established by Ukrainian sanitary standards.
Testing was carried out by a state-accredited facility — the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Kyiv) — utilizing advanced atomic absorption spectroscopy and gamma spectrometry. These methods ensure highly accurate analysis in accordance with both GOST and Ukrainian national standards.
This test report certifies that the product is free from toxic contaminants, safe for human use, and suitable for applications such as microdosing and general wellness. We publish our test results openly, reflecting our confidence in the quality and safety of each product we produce.
In accordance with current Ukrainian legislation, product labeling may include additional proprietary or trade names. The style and placement of product names on packaging may vary, provided they are approved by the manufacturer and fully comply with applicable laws and technical documentation.
LABORATORY TESTING: IBOTENIC ACID & MUSCIMOL CONTENT
Certificate of Analysis № A2620/3 — Dated July 21, 2024
Purpose
To determine the concentration of active compounds — ibotenic acid and muscimol — in the submitted fly agaric (Amanita muscaria) sample.
